CAUSES
- Software update glitch
- Battery draining apps
- Automatic settings configurations on apps (Push Notifications, Emails, Downloads, Updates, Auto Lock etc)
- High brightness settings
- Enabled features ( AirDrop, Bluetooth, Animations, 4G networks, Vibrations etc)
SOLUTION
- Disable back ground app refresh via Settings > General > Background app refresh and disable all apps that you don't need to update automatically.
- Switch from Push email to fetch/manual via Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calenders > Fetch new data & choose between 2 options
> Fetch: checks for new email after a certain interval (the longer the interval, the less battery consuming)
> Manual: checks for new email when you open the app.
- Disable app push notifications via Settings > Notification Centre > Include
- Disable automatic downloads via Settings > iTunes & AppStore >
- Update apps only via wifi by disabling cellular data via Settings > iTunes & AppStore > Cellular data 'OFF'
- Reduce screen brightness via Settings > Wallpaper & Brightness > Auto brightness 'OFF'
- Disable vibrations via Settings > Sound > Vibrate on ring 'OFF'
- Reduce Auto Lock Time via Settings > General > Auto Lock
- Disable Airdrop
- Disable Bluetooth
- Disable Parallax effect via Settings > General > Accessibility > Reduce motion 'ON'
- Disable dynamic wallpaper via Settings > Wallpapers & Brightness > Choose Wallpaper
- Disable 4G network via Settings > Cellular > Enable 4G 'OFF'
- Disable Siri's raise to speak via Settings > General > Siri > Raise to Speak 'OFF'
- Enable Airplane mode in low network areas to prevent battery drain when searching for networks.
