Rapid battery drain? (IOS 7.1)

CAUSES

- Background app refresh is ENABLED

- Airdrop is ENABLED

- Location services is ENABLED

- Push Notifications are ENABLED

- Battery draining apps

SOLUTION

- Turn off 'background app refresh via Setings>General>Background app refresh

- Turn off 'airdrop' via the Control centre

- Turn off 'Location Services' via Settings>Privacy>Location services

- Turn off some push notifications via Settings>Notifications

- Disable battery draining apps not in use via Double-clicking Home button and swiping

- Restart the device

- Reset all settings via Settings>General>Reset all settings

- Perform a factory reset
