poor wifi connection? (galaxy note 4)

                                      FULL PHONE SPECS: Samsung Galaxy Note 4

CAUSES

- Outdated router firmware
- Mac filtering option is ENABLED on the router
- Unconfigured Note 4 Mac address on router
- Crowded router channel
- Wifi restriction caused by low battery life 

SOLUTION

- Ensure router firmware is fully updated

- Ensure Mac filtering is DISABLED on the router

- Add your Note 4 Mac address via Wifi>Settings>Advanced

- Ensure the channel is NOT crowded, if it is, migrate to another channel

- Ensure low battery life isn’t restricting your Wifi via Settings>Power Saving

- Restart your Note 4 and router and retry the connection

- Forget the connection, choose your router via Settings>Wifi>Forget and enter the details again
