SOLUTION

- Ensure side switch setting is NOT set to ‘Lock Rotation’ via Settings>General>Use side switch to

- Reboot the device by pressing and holding the ‘Sleep/Wake’ + ‘Home’ buttons for 10 seconds until it reboots

- Reset all settings via Settings>General>Reset>Reset All Settings
