Shutdown the iPad (iOS6)

This involves the interaction of 2 buttons i.e. Home button (bottom centre of the iPad) and Sleep/Wake button (Top right of the iPad)

Press and hold down both buttons until a slider bar appears on your screen. Slide it to Shutdown the iPad.
